Difference between Depressed and Unhappy

Do you know the difference between being depressed or simply sad? I think most people know the difference.

 Yes, it’s indeed normal to feel sad from time to time. Sometime in life, everyone will experience sadness. Sadness may be a natural reaction to something painful which went on. Depression is more extreme. It is a clinical illness that features a lot more symptoms than sadness and may, if not treated cause suicide.

 The difference between sadness and depression may be a person experiencing feelings which they find upsetting can logically tell you what it's that's causing the unhappiness, whereas individuals suffering from depression can not necessarily do so. People affected by sadness know their feelings will begin to heal throughout their time. A person affected by depression will usually worsen and don't see an end to things.

 Depression can last for weeks, months, or years. It is not something that an individual can merely 'snap out of,' very much like they want they might. It is just not possible. The feelings are so strong and devastating and believe me; no one wants to be anticipating taking their own life.

If an individual features a loss of interest in life in their daily activities, job, relationship, or socializing for quite about two to 3 weeks and their mood is out of character, then a visit to the doctor would be so as.

 Here are some of the main signs of depression:

 1. Tiredness/lethargy or inability to sleep (insomnia)

 2. Loss of curiosity in social activities and sexual relations

 3. Contemplating death and/or suicide

 4. Lack of egos and inappropriate guilt

 5. Significant weight changes

 6. Lack of focus

 If you have any signs, you should make an appointment with your doctor. There are screening tests are available and there is a variety of them available on the web also.

So take care of yourself.  There is nobody else even remotely such as you that has your talents, skills, or abilities. You simply can't be replaced and you've got important things to try to do together with your life. The only person you'll control is yourself, so look out for yourself first and foremost. Everyone and everything else is out of your control. Start doing those things today that cause you to feel good. You know what they are. We're all counting on it!
